Sometimes a Madonna song just needs a good tweak. Most of Madonna's remixes since the early '90s have been rather dramatic re-workings of her songs. However, the Edit One mix of "Fever" simply took a decent album track and spiced it up a bit. With a slightly more dramatic edge, a minute trimmed off and the addition of new backing vocals, the song came to life. Used as the soundtrack for the vibrant video, many fans consider this version superior to the album version. |
