In the early '80s, remixes tended only to be slight variations on the original song, but "Burning Up" went in a very cool new direction on the 12" remix. Complete with more '80s synth lines than you can shake a stick at, this remix matched the urgency of Madonna's voice, pleading as she's "burning up for your love." "Burning Up" is already many fans' favorite early era Madonna song, and for some this remix makes it even better. |
