"Everybody"
is the song that started it all. Landing
somewhere between the death of disco and the
birth of '80s synth-pop, "Everybody"
was a remarkably simple call to the dancefloor:
"Everybdoy, come on, dance and sing.
Everybody, get up, do your thing." That
message would be repeated in various incarnations
over the rest of her career, proving that Madonna
certainly knows the power of dance. The video is
rarely seen and simply features Madonna singing
on stage at Danceteria. |
